Success Stories of Lee Health’s Education Award Program

Every year, within the spring, Lee Health employees, volunteers, members of the family, and Lee County residents keen on pursuing a healthcare profession have the chance to use for grants through the Lee Health Education Award Program. This 12 months, 142 recipients received assistance to assist them with their educational expenses.

“This 12 months’s recipients included 108 employees, 4 volunteers, 26 members of the family, and 4 members of the community/prospective employees,” explained Cynthia Parracho, education & grant coordinator. “Recipients are chosen based on academic achievement, financial need, profession goals, and field of study. This Program began in 2015, and we’re so fortunate to have incredible support from local donors, which supports and propels our mission.”
