Florida Grandma Takes On Role of Flower Girl at Wedding

For guests at Kayleigh Bell-Nesi’s wedding, their anticipation for a baby to steer the bridal party because the flower girl was met with a surprising twist. As an alternative of choosing a baby, Kayleigh went in the other way and selected her 74-year-old grandmother, Carolann Bell.

Wedding guests in St. Augustine immediately broke into applause as Carolann stole the show along with her flower girl performance. She flung pink petals over her head and throughout the aisle, earning excited chants and laughs from the group.

Kayleigh planned this surprise to make sure her grandmother had a major role in her wedding, especially since Carolann is her only living grandparent.

Carolann and Kayleigh share a detailed bond, which has been further strengthened after the death of Carolann’s husband. Kayleigh considers her grandmother her best friend and having her because the flower girl was one among the highlights of her wedding.

Kayleigh hopes that individuals appreciate their grandparents and make them feel special at any time when possible.
