Santa Brings Holiday Cheer to Estero’s Vet’s Day Celebrations at Wonder Gardens

The Village of Estero is working with quite a lot of community organizations to supply a free, patriotic, and entertaining Veterans Day event for residents from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, on the Estero Community Park.

This system will feature a patriotic concert, free hot dogs, an American classic and muscle automotive show, and a kids’ zone.

Dr. Debi Lux, founding father of the Collier-Lee Honor Flight, will give the keynote address followed by recognition of Goldstar Families and native veterans, ending with a 21 Gun Salute, playing of “Taps,” and an American pop music concert by Lindsey Graham.

This party is geared to bringing the whole community together in a fun atmosphere… all while honoring our veterans. Plan on bringing your loved ones, friends, and neighbors, along together with your lawn chairs or blankets.

This special community event is being presented on the Estero Community Park situated at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd.

The Wonder Gardens offers photos with Santa starting Nov. 12

For the third 12 months, Wonder Gardens is offering photos with Santa on Sunday, Nov. 12. Time slots can be found from 2:30 to five:30 p.m. Photo sessions will likely be within the French-styled solarium at The Wonder Gardens, decorated for the vacations.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah

Each family — as much as two adults and 4 children — gets 10 minutes to take as many pictures as they need with Santa. The Wonder Gardens will even have a photographer who will email the most effective three to 5 images in time for the vacations. The fee for every session is $55 per family for members of The Wonder Gardens and $65 per family for non-members.

“Families have made this annual event a practice, creating memorable images for posterity and holiday greetings,” said Sarah Williamson, retail and communications manager for The Wonder Gardens. “This fundraiser also helps support our beloved attraction, which receives no government support to take care of the plants, reptiles, and birds that make Wonder Gardens special.”

The worth of the photo session doesn’t include admission to the park. Nevertheless, The Wonder Shoppe, the attraction’s gift shop, is offered without admission charge and includes animal-themed, locally produced, and holiday gifts, including products that support wildlife.

This free event is held at The Salvation Army of Collier County at 1472 Airport Pulling Road S., Naples. This 12 months’s sponsors included Ultimate Garages, Porsche Naples, Ferrari Club of America Naples Chapter, GLab Media, Ferrari of Naples, Lamborghini of Naples, LeeCorp Homes, and Summit Marketing.

The annual event features a automotive rally led by the Collier County Sheriff Motorcycle Unit, a judged automotive show that features over 50 cars, food vendors, bounce houses, and live music by School of Rock House Band from Fort Myers.

All proceeds from this event support our programs and services at our Fran Cohen Youth Center in Naples. For more information on The Salvation Army of Collier County and our fifth Annual Rally for Good, contact Patrice Gabower – Director of Development at 239-210-4006 or Jim Buonavolonta at jb@naplesultimategarages.com for extra details.
