Groundbreaking Commences for Vanderbilt Beach’s Newest Estate by Diamond Custom Homes

Luxury homebuilder Diamond Custom Homes has broken ground on a 9,676-square-foot spec home at 141 Channel Drive, off Gulfshore Drive within the Vanderbilt Beach neighborhood.

Situated on a waterfront homesite, the five-bedroom, five-and one-half bath house is designed by Stofft Cooney Architects, LLC, with interior design and custom cabinetry by EDGE and landscape architecture by Architectural Land Design Inc.

“We’re pleased to embark on our second waterfront project inside Vanderbilt Beach,” said Diamond Custom Homes President Michael Diamond, “and we embrace the chance to create one more luxurious custom home on this highly desirable neighborhood.”

The house’s interior will offer a up to date and complex aesthetic, with naturally stained wood flooring, fluid lines, layered textures, and metal accents. Encompassing 4,262 square feet of air-conditioned space, the residence will likely be highlighted by 12-foot, beamed ceilings, and a stone stair tower. Beyond the front entry will likely be an area that seamlessly connects the predominant entry, great room, kitchen, and club room.

The primary floor will include a bedroom and toilet. A 3-sided, stone-cladded fireplace will anchor the good room and club room. Throughout the club room will likely be a bar and wine room, in addition to an adjoining office space.

The house will include custom cabinetry crafted by EDGE, a custom range hood, personalized iron shelving units, butler’s pantry, and Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. Off the club room and great room, sliding doors will open to the outdoor living area. The summer kitchen, outdoor living and dining area, and the pool and spa will likely be situated on the primary level. The second level will include a main bedroom with a non-public outdoor balcony, 4 bedrooms, loft, and laundry room.

Completion is anticipated in Spring 2025.
