Trial Scheduled for Woman Who Purchased 200 Gallons of RaceTrac Gas for $15

The trial for a Naples woman who police said paid $15 for greater than 200 gallons of gas at a Collier County RaceTrac could come as soon as April.

During a Thursday case management conference, Collier Circuit Judge Elizabeth Krier set a tentative April 29 trial date for Yuliet Sanchez Centella, 29, of Naples.

Collier County deputies responded to a call for a theft of diesel fuel on the RaceTrac on July 20, in accordance with an arrest report. One other deputy on duty in the realm positioned the suspect vehicle, conducted a traffic stop, and arrested Sanchez Centella.

The responding deputy spoke with a RaceTrac corporate office representative who monitored the pumps on the station. The representative said he was alerted that the pumps were manipulated when a gold Dodge Ram pickup parked at pump numbered “7.”
